11/15/2008 - Mackens Semerzier - Another Pro-Fight Win

On November 15, 2008, LINXX’s own Mackens Semerzier stepped into the cage once again for his second professional mixed martial arts fight. The fight was scheduled for three, five minute, rounds; however, Mack had no intentions of it going the distance. As the fight began his opponent, Justin Hickey, had some early success. He came out strong, fought for a takedown, and ultimately ended up in Mack’s guard. From there, Mack showed exceptional Jiu Jitsu skill. He kept Hickey at bay, took almost no damage, and managed to inflict some of his own. Frustrated by his inability to either pass Mack’s guard or cause any significant damage, Hickey desperately dropped back for a foot lock. Mack quickly addressed it, escaped, and ended up in the full mount position. From there Mack rained down punches, forcing Hickey to give his back in a desperate attempt to escape the barrage. Mack then ended the fight via read naked choke near the very end of the first round.
