Junior LINXX Instructors
Dan Brooks
Dan Brooks has been training at LINXX since 1995 and teaching at LINXX since the age of 15. He holds a 4th Degree Black Belt in Muay Thai under the LINXX Academy and is a certified instructor under the Thai Boxing Association of the United States. Dan is currently the lead adult Thai Boxing and youth Total Defense instructor at the Kempsville location. He also studies Jiu-Jitsu, Kali, and Jeet Kune Do.
Evan Taylor
Evan Taylor began his training with LINXX in 1995. He holds a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Muay Thai under the LINXX Academy and is a certified instructor under the Thai Boxing Association of the United States. Evan has competed in various Muay Thai events including the 2007 WKA Amateur Muay Thai Championships and the 2005 IFK Central East Regional Championships. In addition to teaching Muay Thai, Evan is the head instructor for the LINXX Capoeira program and holds the rank of Red/Blue Cord. Evan also studies Jiu-Jitsu and Kali.
Ian Alexander
Ian Alexander has trained with LINXX since 2000. He holds a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Muay Thai under the LINXX Academy and is a certified instructor under the Thai Boxing Association of the United States. In addition to teaching Junior and Master LINXX students, Ian is the coach for the Muay Thai Competition Team. He has competed in various Muay Thai events including the WKA Amateur Muay Thai Championships and the 2005 IKF Central East Regional Championships. Ian also studies Kali and Jeet Kune Do.
Frank Cucci Jr.
Frank Cucci, Jr. has been training and competing with LINXX since 1994. He holds a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Muay Thai under the LINXX Academy and is a certified instructor under the Thai Boxing Association of the United States. Frank also holds a Purple Belt in Jiu-Jitsu and has competed in various Jiu-Jitsu events, including winning a gold medal at the 2009 North Atlantic Grappling Association Tournament. In addition to teaching Muay Thai, Frank instructs LINXX members in personal Gymjones fitness training and is actively involved in ultra-distance adventure racing.
Megan Norr
Megan Norr began her training at LINXX in 2000. She holds a 1st Degree Black Belt in Muay Thai under the LINXX Academy and also studies Jiu-Jitsu. Megan was a gold medalist in the LINXX Intramural Thai Boxing Tournament in 2003 and 2004.
Kyle Windley
Kyle Windley has been training at LINXX since 2000. He holds a 1st Degree Black Belt in Muay Thai under the LINXX Academy and is a certified instructor under the Thai Boxing Association of the United States. Kyle was a gold medalist in the LINXX Intramural Thai Boxing Tournament in 2005 and a silver medalist in the LINXX Intramural Thai Boxing Tournament in 2003 and 2004. He also studies Jiu-Jitsu.
Angela Heddings
Angela Heddings has been training with LINXX since 1998. She holds a Black Belt in Muay Thai under the LINXX Academy and has also studied Jiu-Jitsu, Kali, Jeet Kune Do, and Capoeira. Angela competed in the 2007 WKA Amateur Muay Thai Championships and has instructed a number of women’s self-defense seminars. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Liberty University, where she created and instructed a self-defense class for students.
