LINXX 2012 Summer Camp Still Has Open Slots

LINXX Academy’s 2012 Summer Camp is in full swing, and the past few weeks have been filled with much excitement, hard work, and excursions to various places around the area. All summer camp participants have been enjoying a great time and, with more than four weeks of camp remaining, there is still plenty of room to join the fun.

Students begin the morning with a jog, stop at the park for a little fun, then return to the school for training sessions, team building activities, and games. Training sessions include Thai Boxing and Jiu-Jitsu classes, physical training, and even introductory lessons in stick and knife defense. When the kids aren’t working hard on the mat, they are out on the town in the new LINXX Academy turtle top buses, traveling to numerous fun destinations. Some of the places visited include the playground at Mount Trashmore, Reboundz (an indoor trampoline gym), the Virginia Aquarium, and Lynnhaven 18 movie theatre. Other destinations, such as Sea Shore State Park, Pin Boys Bowling Alley, and the Rock Wall, are still on the schedule to be visited. In addition to the martial arts training and field trips, the campers also spent time tapping into their creative side by making paracord bracelets.

Kids age 6-13 are eligible to participate in the week long camp, which runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All campers participating in more than one week of camp get 25% off any additional camp weeks!
